Ett riktigt äventyr för oss som var med, arrangerat av Out Seglingsevenemang. The development of AF Offshore & Civil Construction’s offshore strategy gained further ground in March of 2011 with the acquisition of a Mandal based company in the southernmost part of Norway, now branded AF Offshore Mandal. AF Environmental Base Vats, outside Haugesund on Norway’s South-West coast, is one of Europe’s most modern and environmentally sound reception facilities for discarded offshore installations. AF Environmental Base Vats also has rental capabilities.
Mellan 200-250 segelbåtar är i startgroparna inför årets race, och det är trångt i startområdet. ÅF Offshore Race. Mellan 200 och 250 segelbåtar väntar ivrigt på att få komma iväg, från hamnen på Skeppsholmen. Starten av ÅF Offshore Race går på söndagen (alltså idag) mellan 11:00 och 14:00 och seglingen går runt Gotland. De flesta räknar med 2-3 dygn till sjöss. Idag invigdes årets ÅF Offshore Race.
